I’ve been working with Gunnar since 2023 and, over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate a wide range of their eyewear. If you’ve heard that before, then you already know we’re talking about Alienware!
For anyone who doesn’t know, Alienware is Dell’s gaming brand, known for its high-end gaming PCs, laptops and accessories, with that iconic futuristic alien-inspired design. And now, they’ve teamed up with GUNNAR for a pair of gaming glasses that, honestly… look out of this world!
Straight away, the design grabs your attention. You’ve got that futuristic, Alienware-inspired geometric look, but it’s that liquid teal colour that really makes these pop. It’s a really cool colour choice and definitely gives them that Alienware feel without going completely over the top.
Then you’ve got the wraparound shield lens, which adds even more to that futuristic look. These definitely aren’t the kind of gaming glasses you’re going to put on and forget about. They stand out, and personally, I really like that.
They’re also surprisingly lightweight thanks to the polymer frame, so they don’t feel like they’re weighing you down after a few hours. The adjustable nose pads are another nice touch, helping you get a more comfortable fit, especially during those longer gaming sessions or when you’re spending hours in front of a screen.
And of course, these aren’t just about looking good.
The lenses feature GUNNAR’s patented technology, designed to help reduce digital eye strain, block harmful blue light and provide 100% UV protection. So whether you’re gaming, working, editing videos or just spending way too much time staring at a screen, they’re designed with those long sessions in mind.

And I’ve got to give them some credit for the extras too. Inside the package, you get an Alienware Puffy White Pouch, a microfiber cleaning cloth and a 12-month warranty. The pouch itself is a really nice addition, especially if you’re someone who’s constantly throwing your glasses into a bag when you’re heading out.
There is one thing to keep in mind though. These aren’t available with prescription lenses, so if you normally rely on prescription glasses, that’s definitely something you’ll want to consider before picking these up.
But honestly, if you’re an Alienware fan, a gamer who wants something a little different, or you just want a pair of gaming glasses that are going to stand out on camera, these definitely caught my attention. They look futuristic, they’re comfortable, they’ve got some solid lens technology behind them, and that liquid teal finish just screams Alienware.
So, are they worth adding to your gaming setup? I’d say they’re definitely worth checking out.

“Nothing is ever truly lost. It just waits to be found.” And honestly, if there’s one character that immediately comes to mind when I hear that, it’s Lara Croft. Tomb Raider has been around for 30 years now, and to celebrate such a huge milestone, GUNNAR has released the Croft glasses, inspired by Lara and the classic look of the original games.
As a huge gamer myself, I’ve always liked gaming glasses that don’t just feel like another piece of gaming gear, but actually have a design that represents a game or character I love. That’s one of the first things that caught my attention with these.
The Croft glasses feature a classic round shape with a modern edge, while the warm bronze colouring gives them that old-school explorer feel that fits Lara perfectly. The stainless-steel frame, textured eye wire and engineered polymer wrapping give them a premium look, while the flexible spring hinges help keep them comfortable during those longer gaming sessions.
The coolest part about the Tomb Raider Croft glasses has to be the case. Honestly, this has to be one of my favourites since the Tony Stark glasses.
The case itself really adds to the whole Lara Croft experience. It has that combat-style, tactical look, almost like something you’d expect to find attached to Lara’s gear before heading out on an expedition. It’s not just something you throw into your bag either, as it’s designed to be worn on your belt using either the clip or the buttoned strap.
The material feels really durable too, and honestly, if you didn’t want to use it for the glasses, you could easily find other uses for it. You probably wouldn’t fit your phone in there, but you could carry some cash, small accessories or even a pair of sunglasses. And then we get to the collector extras. Since this is the 30th Anniversary Edition, GUNNAR has included some really nice additions to go alongside the glasses. You get the limited-edition Dagger of Xian collector’s pin, a special 30th Anniversary microfiber cleaning cloth, and a collector’s microfiber pouch, all of which add to the overall Tomb Raider feel of the set.
