Lost Twins 2

Imagine a puzzle game where the world around you can be shifted like a Rubik’s cube. That’s the heart of Lost Twins 2, a serene solo & co-op adventure that just dropped a charming demo on PC and Xbox.

You play as twin siblings Abi and Ben, separated in a gorgeous painterly world inspired by Studio Ghibli. To reunite them, you don’t battle monsters: you slide pieces of the environment. Platforms shift, gates open, water flows. It’s clever, slow-paced, and it feels like magic when you solve a puzzle in sync with a friend.

The puzzles with the two characters are really smart.

The demo supports both couch and remote co-op. One player might be moving platforms while the other triggers switches. Here teamwork is everything. And though there’s no timer or combat, every puzzle brings that satisfying “aha” moment, while the soundtrack gently whispers encouragement.

Behind it all is Playdew, the indie studio that created the original Lost Twins. This sequel took shape through steady development and community feedback. The demo’s preview feedback has been positive, and players praise the visual charm and thoughtful puzzle design.

This is the core of the game where you'll swap the position of parts of a level to match doors of the same color and navigate through the new layout. I got to say that was great to play with, it's a really smart mechanic.

Lost Twins 2 is set to launch in August 2025 on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The co-op demo is available now. If you’re looking for a puzzle game that’s gentle, beautiful, and deeply cooperative, this one’s for you.

It’s not about fighting enemies, and there’s no time pressure.
Just two kids, a drifting world, and puzzles that bring hearts, and siblings back together.
