Angie’s garden is quiet. She waters the soil, cooks a warm meal, watches the sun rise, and then…someone knocks. Every day begins the same, until something feels just a little off. That’s when Fractured Blooms starts to bloom into something darker.
Revealed during Summer Game Fest, Fractured Blooms is a life-sim horror game where cozy routines slowly unravel into dread. You play as Angie, a woman trying to rebuild a peaceful life in a small countryside home. You cook, clean, harvest crops, and manage your stamina through a peaceful rhythm of daily tasks. But every time you go to bed, the loop resets. And something changes.
One day it’s a misplaced object. Another day, there’s blood on the pillow. Then someone knocks, again and again, but never comes in.

The game draws inspiration from Silent Hill and Doki Doki Literature Club, blending horror and introspection in a way that hits harder the longer you stay in it. Nothing jumps out at you. Instead, the fear creeps in through repetition, timing, and the feeling that someone’s watching while you stir the soup.
There’s no release date yet, but Fractured Blooms is confirmed for PC via Steam. It’s being developed and published by Serenity Forge, the same studio behind emotionally-driven titles like To the Moon and Lifeless Planet.
There doesn’t seem to be much of flashy combat. Just memories to unpack, chores to complete, and a creeping sense that no matter how many times you try to fix things, the cracks are spreading anyway.
